    Please reference Case # 05317536 and 05317556. The city should come out and inspect the drain that the recycling truck ran over to assess if it was damaged. Below is the reference text from Case #05317556: At approximately 10:45 AM on August 1, 2025, a City recycling truck drove over a newly repaired sidewalk curb drain located in the cul-de-sac at the end of Fontaine St. This same drain was just repaired by the City in July 2025, due to damage previously caused by a City vehicle over a year ago. A related case was filed today with Leslie at Environmental Services (Case # 05317536). Please identify the driver(s) on this route and provide coaching on proper vehicle operation to prevent future damage. This is precisely why a cone is placed there—to deter vehicles from driving over the curb drain.

    There are 3 easements on my property that need to be cleared. As I understand the city is responsible for clearing these easements. It’s been years since anyone has been here to do this job. The easements are severely overgrown and invading my neighbors right to 100 feet of defensible space against fire. This needs to be addressed as soon as possible.

    There are a significant amount of mosquitos just south of Pendleton Elementary and Clay Park. They are likely coming out of the narrow storm drain easement just south of these locations. There was a mosquito spraying event in the Rolando Village neighborhood earlier this summer but the spray zone did not include Mataro Drive where it meets Pendleton Elementary or the storm drain easement to the direct south. There was a report of West Nile virus originating from the Rolando Village area.

    CCO INVESTIGATED. FOUND OIL IN DRAIN. REFER TO O&M TO CLEAN INLET & CATCH BASIN SDPD reported a car accident at 2001 Rimbey Ave. Oil had flowed into a storm drain in front of Berry Elementary. Oil flow has since stopped.
