    More transients at 4920 orchard. No permit on file or.posted. Out of state transients appear to be stealing live sand dollars off our beaches and are letting them die on the.table in front of the unit. So illegal and so gross, please shut this down and stop people.like this from destroying our natural environment.

    Constant marijuana smoke coming from guest at residence (6307 Lake Decatur Ave). Contacted owner Jared White to inform him of marijuana smoke from guest that was traveling into my 2 and 4 year old windows. Jared (owner of property) didn't respond within the hour and dismissed the incident alleging he didn't know. This is unacceptable.

    Notified contact by text at 10:13 PM on 7/8/25 that their vacation renters next door to my home were being very loud (yelling, screaming) and received a text back that contact would message them. The noise continued, so I texted contact again at 10:35 PM to let her know the renters had not stopped and had windows open right below our bedroom window. The noise was keeping us from getting to sleep. I did not receive a response to that text, and the noise continued for at least another hour after it was sent. Noise is a continual problem from short term renters in this property and we have been trying for over a year to work with the contact.

    The STRO house next door to my home uses a trash service to take bins to and from the curb. On 7/7/25 at 10:35 PM someone from their service came to move the trash bins back between our house and the STRO house. This was far too late to be making all that noise. Our bedrooms are on that side of the house so it's a disturbance. They drive up with their high beams on, turn around on the street and park in front of the houses facing the wrong direction. I texted the contact to let her know and did not receive a reply.

Violation that has occurred is "Illegal using of license on airbnb website for wrong property to circumvent the rules".

    Renters were loud all night. Local contact responded but did not stop the activity. I repeatedly contacted the local contact that the noise was continuing. It finally stopped when they went to bed after 1 am. The local contact did not respond to my last message at all.

    Trash is piling up again at this short-term rental. There is so much trash the black container the lid won't close (see attached photo). SD Muni Code Sec. 66.0126 (b) states it is unlawful to fail to maintain covered refuse containers. Excessive trash violations have occurred multiple times at this property and reported on Get-it-Done. The host/local contact again failed to have the refuse container put on the street for collection in time and the collection was missed, allowing the refuse to build up to the point it can't be effectively covered. Further, the host/local contact has 'warned me' not to contact him about trash issues on his property (see attached text screenshot). Additionally, his house cleaning service put refuse in the green container. This is in violation of City's Waste Management Regulation (WMR) VI paragraph 7 - It is the resident's responsibility to place only acceptable refuse, recyclables and organic waste in their respective containers. Sec. 66.0124 authorizes WMR.
