- Trash is piling up again at this short-term rental. There is so much trash the black container the lid won't close (see attached photo). SD Muni Code Sec. 66.0126 (b) states it is unlawful to fail to maintain covered refuse containers. Excessive trash violations have occurred multiple times at this property and reported on Get-it-Done. The host/local contact again failed to have the refuse container put on the street for collection in time and the collection was missed, allowing the refuse to build up to the point it can't be effectively covered. Further, the host/local contact has 'warned me' not to contact him about trash issues on his property (see attached text screenshot). Additionally, his house cleaning service put refuse in the green container. This is in violation of City's Waste Management Regulation (WMR) VI paragraph 7 - It is the resident's responsibility to place only acceptable refuse, recyclables and organic waste in their respective containers. Sec. 66.0124 authorizes WMR.
