- Unacceptable to close a bike lane on a road where cars drive 45+mph without a safe detour. In violation of both CA Vehicle Code 21211.b and the city's own "Whitebook" manual section 601-5(2)(b) which stipulates that if a bike lane must be closed, a detour bike path must be provided. Please create one out of temp jersey barriers in 1 of 2 remaining driving lanes. Extremely dangerous, huge liability.
