- I’d like to request a speed bump on 36th Street, between University and Orange Avenue. Cars frequently hit dangerous speeds (sometimes what looks like 60 mph!) and ignore the stop sign at 36th and Polk. I am concerned because this is only half a block from the elementary school and many children regularly walk to/from school through this intersection. I’ve seen multiple children have to avoid getting hit from cars ignoring the stop signs (I can see the intersection from my window). I am afraid it is only a matter of time before something serious happens. I have attached an image of the intersection, and am more than willing to discuss further. Thank you for your time!
