- There are 8–9 large eucalyptus trees on city property here that have not been trimmed in over 5 years. The trees are overgrown, dense, and top-heavy, with shallow roots — a dangerous combination, especially on this steep, curved residential street. I am very concerned for public and personal safety. These trees pose a serious fall risk to homes (including mine), vehicles, and pedestrians. In the past few years, multiple eucalyptus trees have fallen in our neighborhood. This location is a clear candidate for the next incident. Please inspect and schedule urgent trimming/lacing before high winds or storms cause a preventable accident.
