- I am a tenant at 2165 valentino st Unit#4 and am filing a complaint against my landlord for issuing an invalid 26-day notice to vacate, accepting partial rent prior to issuing the notice, and engaging in harassment by repeatedly demanding I leave before the stated date. • I moved in on January 10, 2025. • My landlord accepted partial rent on April 23, 2025. I never received a receipt for this payment. • On April 28, 2025, I received a 26-day notice (via email, and taped to my door, but not mailed). • On May 5 and again on May 23, I was pressured to leave early, including being told to “get a hotel” and that an eviction would go on my record. These actions violate California Civil Code §§ 1940.2 and 1946.1 and may violate San Diego’s Tenant Protection Ordinance. I am requesting an investigation into this harassment and improper eviction attempt. I have documentation (texts, notice, timeline) and am happy to provide them.
