- Ever since they repaved High Bluff Dr. (in the last few weeks), the signal at High Bluff and El Camino is working very slowly, sometimes signaling red in all directions. It also fails to be triggered to change by waiting vehicles proceeding north. And the two signals on High Bluff just north of El Camino aren't working correctly. At 5:45 am each morning when I drive north on High Bluff from El Camino those signals (at Del Mar Bluffs Ln. and Plaza Del Mar Driveway) will be red even though there is no cross traffic or any vehicle in sight at all. This never used to be like this. Something is obviously broken. And the drivers know it so they are running the red. One can hardly blame them at that early hour.
