- Outfall pipe fell from outfall at slope to canyon at the end of City drainage easement from Brookhaven to the canyon adjacent to the Kindergarten parking lot. Pipe is laying in canyon and there is no headwall on the slope. Concern that continued drainage down the slope will undermine the parking lot and cause a landslide into the canyon. We did meet out at the site a couple years ago to discuss with two City of SD engineers that stated it would be in the capital program the following year. The engineers were James Arnhart and Julian Tobarsalas. I tried several times to follow up with them and their departments but to no avail. I hope this process works because there could be massive landslide and damage to the school property if this outfall pipe is not repaired and replaced immediately.
