I am writing to formally report a severe, ongoing safety hazard on my street and to request immediate inspection and resurfacing for the stretch of Arenas Street located between Olivetas Avenue and La Jolla Boulevard.I have lived in front of this specific section (469 Arenas Street) for over 16 years, and during this entire time, this segment of the road has never been repaved. While other streets in our neighborhood have seen resurfacing, this short stretch has been entirely neglected. As a result, the asphalt has severely degraded into deep potholes and extensive cracking.This is no longer just a cosmetic issue; it is a dangerous physical hazard. the poor condition of this exact road segment caused a serious incident. No clean up of Hillcrest after 200,00 people visited the community? The streets are covered in trash and broken bottles and the trash cans are overflowing. Is that how the LGBT mayor manages the largest LGBT civic event of the year. Take the money and don’t clean up. Shameful.
