Owner of complex, Carl Powell, 619-548-4652, Bridgeway Management, 2165 San Diego Ave., Ste. 103, San Diego, CA 92110, is renting out 3 of the 5 units as vacation rentals and the noise and traffic from this is overwhelming.

Hosts are not actively providing on-site parking or viable parking solutions as stipulated by the San Diego Municipal Code. Hosts advertise property to accommodate 15 guests maximum and no more than 3 vehicles, but often times there are much more than three, as much as eight, and residents are forced to park a good distance away from their houses and have to deal strangers in front of our houses smoking, being noisy, and leaving trash. Please enforce the parking regulations in accordance with the San Diego Municipal Code.

At 8:30 pm on 5/25/2025 a loud distrubance at this STVR occurred from the people at this rental that created an unsafe personal environment and safety issue for residents next door to this stvr. A verbal confrontation ensured with these people in front of our residential house. Police 911 was called at 8:42 pm for fear of our safety. People were told police were called and continued the harassment. Host on posting was called at 8:48 pm to report disturbance and concerns for personal safety. To deescalate this volitle situation, we closed all doors and windows to our residence. At 8:52 pm a second call was made to police 911 because the same male was yelling "come out, come out, come out" to taunt and harass us further. We (3 people) were afraid for our personal safety and property safety. We did not engage with this man nor leave our house. Police arrived at our residence and interviewed us, took a report and asked us to identify the stvr where the people were. Host failed to call within hour.

There have been multiple noise issues in the past and twice in the last 2 weeks. The contact no. listed for Jessica Mahon is not a working number and has been disconnected for a while. There is no valid way to get in touch with a designated contact if there are issues coming from this house.

Unlicensed STRO. Lots of people coming and going, no signage. We had a house suspected of human trafficking in the neighborhood, don’t want to see this happen again.

Property is under active CPNO with open code enforcement case and should not be rented until the case is closed. The host is renting the property this weekend, May 23, 2025, May 24, 2025 and possible longer.

Contacted host via text at 2:07 AM May 24, 2025 regarding a disturbance (party noise, loud talking) in vacation rental back yard. Host never responded. San Diego Police notified and responded with complaint number A36651.
